…In search of brighter (and redder) lights, Semra is finally leaving us to go and join her man in Holland.

what a cop out ;)

Luckily La Raza and Henry’s were on hand to cheer us up with lots of cocktails and some nice grub for Semra’s send off.

On a more serious note, Semra will be massively missed, probably even on a daily basis. We wish Semra all the best of luck living in Holland, and more importantly, BIG LUCK in living with a man – (don’t do it!!!!)

Take a good look at this face, it could soon often be seen only in these places:

Thanks for the memories Sem:

We will miss you!

We’ve concluded today that the wrap is the new Honey favourite at a popular chicken eatery. It was so yummy today that Sarah even had food envy when she saw Daisy, Semra and Claudia working through theirs.

Woah, more like it’s a jungle in there! We love our office at Hope Street Yard, it’s so unique that our stairway is also home to a tree branch growing through the wall! Jumanji inspired or what?!

We were loving the view from the office on Friday after a beautiful rainbow appeared. And then we spotted a second one right above it so we had to take a picture of it! It’s called a secondary bow – it’s always fainter than the primary and the colours are reversed! In sharing more of our recently acquired knowledge, a secondary bow occurs because light can be reflected more than once inside a raindrop and rays escaping after two reflections make a secondary bow. Thanks Google!

It must have taken months of planning, weeks of practice and then hours of scoffing! We bow down to this amazing action squirrel and his/her determination to take on the challenge, make it through all the obstacles and reach the goal. We feel you squirrel. Lunch anyone?

Meet Hairy, the tarantula, and Daisy, the big round face. They were featured in yesterdays Business section of our local paper, Cambridge News.

So… ‘A’ of our A – Z of adventures has gone down a storm, bring on ‘B’ next week! But what will ‘B’ be?! Keep visiting the blog, our Facebook page or Twitter to find out…

Honey Claudia, antiques guru Ray and our new workie Heidi are trying their hand at directing/casting/wannabe Hollywood stars. They were spotted in the Yard searching for the next Robert Pattinson. Note: this picture was taken during a quiet hour, really!

Will Claudia fulfill her dream of ‘being’ a period drama?! Will Heidi give it all up for Cristiano Ronaldo? Or will Ray ruin their dreams by selling these fab pink directors chairs? We’re hoping on the latter so can someone please buy the chairs (they’re going at £10 each, bargain!) so that the girls can stop dreaming, get back in the office and start doing some work!

Fans of the old cuppa, the Honeys are loving the new Otto Cafe. It’s just around the corner from us on Mill Road and owned by a lovely Turkish couple who make tasty cakes too. Mmm cake, we like cake! :-)

During our stroll across the yard we spotted our resident antiques guru, Ray from ‘Ray’s chic boutique’, proudly showing off his odd pair of shoes! At first we assumed it was the latest Hope Street Yard fashion craze and couldn’t wait to jump on board. But apparently he just couldn’t find the second one to either pair and went for something fresh and fetchy. Will this new trend catch on? Watch this space….

Honey PR has recently decided to undertake an A-Z of adventures, pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones with challenges beginning with each letter of the alphabet. With the news that a local paper will be covering the action we set about getting ideas for great letters…

Hairy Hairy quite contrary… A is for Arachnophobia…

Claudia had expressed a genuine fear of all things SPIDER, so it made sense for A to be something more ‘out of the box’ (literally) than the obvious Abseiling. So, introducing the Honduran curly hair tarantula, Hairy…

Grace Dickinson, from ‘Tabitha’s Snakes and Ladies’ brought Hairy in to meet us all and explained all about her species and her behavior. Grace helped us all see that Hairy was actually pretty cool and a bit of a chilled lady. it wasn’t long before we all wanted to take turns holding her.

Hairy is available for phobia training and photoshoots along with her more streamlined friends, the snakes (and ladies) check out:
