Introducing a fantastic, innovative new product, by Vizzkids, the new High Visibility Child Seat Cover. This clever product is the first of its kind on the market and is designed to fit over any child bike seat to offer better cycling safety for you and your little ones.

While most child seats are black or grey, and offer little visibility for traffic, the Vizzkids cover provides visibility during all light conditions, with high-vis material for the day and low light, with reflective strips for night time, and a handy pocket to easily pop a bike light in.

…boys who sure can dance!

Forget strictly come dancing, check out our recent Honey Loves page, where we have featured our favourite video this month, a group of young guys who move like liquid in some of the best street dance Sarah says she has ever seen.

This must be worth a watch, she’s hardly stopped talking about it! (obsessed!) Click on our vintage telly above to take you straight to the awesome clip!

I realised it has been a while since posting a super interesting food themed observation… Since chomping my way through almost a  whole bag of tasty minstrels at the cinema last week I couldn’t help but wonder, wouldn’t it be easier and more satisfying if one didn’t have to break through the hard shell to get to the chocolaty goodness inside?

It was as if the food gods heard my plea, the next day I discovered galaxy counters, they are basically minstrels without the shell! Amazing, and really good enjoyed with a cup of hot chocolate 🙂 Looks like winter is setting in!

The Honey’s are excited to be working with Bonbon balm, makers of gorgeous little pots of 100% natural lip balm! Creator of Bonbon balm, Sally Marsh offers customers the ultimate indulgence all year round with Club bonbon, an exclusive subscription that provides you with a new tasty lip balm delivered to your letter box each month.

Here at Honey we were lucky enough to try out Bonbon balms for ourselves. Getting the little package was really exciting and made a nice change to the usual mundane junk mail and bills through the door! Inside was the cutest frosted jar containing the sweetest smelling balm that tastes delicious, we tried coconut cream. Decorating the lid is a funky geometric pattern by London designer Jack Featherstone who was also named as one of Wallpaper magazines hottest up and coming designers!

Members of the unique club can look forward to tasty flavours such as fruity strawberry, juicy lime, tangy tangerine and many more!

Last week we enjoyed a most delicious lunch at The Plough in Shepreth. Joined by Agenda’s Sian Townsend, Plough owners Luciana and Simon put on a fantastic spread of impressive starters including brown crab fish cakes and crispy pork belly fingers. For main we sampled their famous ‘Traditional English Pizza’ all made with locally sourced ingredients. My favourite was ‘The Essex Veggy’ with pinenuts and spinach.

After filling our bellies with plenty of pizza, as well as succulent spring lamb and a crab linguine with a tasty chilli kick, we feasted upon a selection of deserts, including the best Rhubarb fool I have ever tasted.

The Plough offers a great menu of fair priced fine dining with changing specials, as well as their affordable pizzas, which are also available to take away.
