TeamCamp is an exciting new adventure and activity day camp for 8 to 14 year olds launching this summer in Hampstead Heath, London. Unlike other holiday schemes TeamCamp has been founded to focus on personal development, using the most powerful of learning tools: fun!

Activities at TeamCamp focus on action, drama, and ‘life skills’, where children will work together to complete tasks, take on leadership roles, and learn through fun games and workshops. Activities will range from laser tag to drama and bespoke action games such as ‘raid and trade’, which entails role-play, negotiation, and a lot of running around.  TeamCamp’s ethos is that personal development skills are best learnt by facing challenges whilst having fun.

TeamCamp goes the extra mile, for example, rather than simply acting in a play, teams can expect to work together on script development, direction and stage management of their own mini productions. TeamCamp group sizes are kept small to enable high quality interaction between children and staff team leaders.  Activities also include yoga, role-play and street dance with Della Bhujoo, who has worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake.

The TeamCamp programme harnesses best practice from a variety of sources including top international summer camps, drama schools, child psychologists, and business leadership programmes.  The programme includes specific workshops to help build leadership, presentation and negotiation skills, creative writing, acting and directing.  Most of all though, it is designed to be fun.

TeamCamp is perfect for parents who want to empower their kids and give them a great experience during the summer break.

I recently came across this fab company, Graze, set up by a group of friends with a passion for food, (which is something I can relate to!) Graze delivers healthy snack foods by post! You can choose from over 100 different nibbles, like olives, nuts and flapjacks and have them delivered on a day or days of your choice!

Simple idea, but lovely looking boxes and a huge range to chose from, I used a promo code to receive my first box completely free (inc postage!) I chose Monday as my delivery day to have something tasty to start the week with! http://www.graze.com

Chipmunk came to celebrate the success of his high flying new single, Champion, with some real freefall with us at Airkix in Milton Keynes!

Chipety-chip-chip-away!

We love the new music Video release for Benjamin Francis Leftwich’s new song, ‘Pictures’, a beautiful, subtle song. Look out for Daisy’s sister, Grace, featuring in the video with her snakes!

It is great to see some Airkix coverage this month in Soldier magazine for ‘Battle Back’, a recent UK Military initiative supported by Help for Hero’s. Battle Back uses Adaptive Adventure Training and Sports Rehabilitation to help seriously wounded Service personnel gain confidence and return to an active life. Airkix is in full support of Battle Back, and with world champion team ‘Euphoria’, hosts flying sessions for ex-servicemen.

Although the scheme has only been running since 2008, Battle Back is already making a phenomenal difference to the lives of many wounded Servicemen and women. By encouraging those who have suffered serious injuries to play sports and try new activities in a sociable atmosphere, the team work hard to prove that disability need not spell the end of participation in physical challenges.

I was just thinking about last minute gift ideas and turned to Club Bonbon, a brilliant idea for the girl who has almost everything. Better still? The lucky girl will remember you every month as she unwraps a delicious new lip balm with a surprising new flavour – It seems The Telegraph agrees with us! Happy Christmas girls x
